I am a cigar aficionado and still found this to be a helpful quick guide when looking at cigars I am not as familiar with. For example, I usually stick with maduros, but was looking at some habanos and this gave a quick but insightful look at the difference. It also have a great list of terms with definitions on the back.I hung it in my cigar room and my friends use it as a reference and learning tool while they are smoking. Great quick read, and very informative. Couldn't ask for more.

First, let me just say that my biggest gripe is the construction. Why did they 3-hole punch this? Not only does it not need it, but the punches have punched out text all over this thing, making a number of entries unreadable. Second, some of the information contained is just plain wrong. For example, they state that the wrapper leaf on a cigar provides as much as "75% of the cigar's flavor." This is simply not true of 99% of all cigars. Most cigar enthusiasts agree that the wrapper provides only top-note flavors. And finally, the information that it does have is nearly useless unless you truly know nothing about cigars and have a big cigar tasting event you were invited to. Especially useless is the entire back page that lists "Popular Cigars by Flavor and Brand". It does not even include modern favorites like CAO or Acid, and seems to provide a small selection from just a couple producers like Upmann and Arturo Fuentes. All in all, a waste of money unless you truly know nothing about cigars. Even then, I'm really not sure what you would use this for.

Something for the cigar beginner or even a quick guide for a brush up on your knowledge. I loved how it gave multiple facts that are very common in any cigar buying experience. I was shocked how the cigar shop associates here in Fayetteville, didn't know some of these facts. Even with being in the cigar business over 30 years.

Being a novice in the cigar world, it's nice to have something that quick to check in a cigar store. These are the basics which sometimes can be tough to ask questions about depending on who's manning the store. This small investment (Guide map) into this wonderful world is a no-brainer.

It does have some interesting information on it for beginners. If you are familiar with these type of reference guides from school you will be happy with it. As other users have stated a book maybe a better purchase. I just slide mine in the back of my Cigar Dossier and use as a reference for ring gauges.

This is a nice 4-page reference guide for cigar lovers. (Reminds me of guides published for Microsoft computer programs.) It references all the terms associated with smoking a fine cigar and tips for enjoying this hobby. A few more pictures would have been nice and I wish the "Popular Cigar Brands by flavor & size" had been arranged from Mild to Medium to Full bodied, rather than alphabetically.

It's a 4-page leaflet full of useful information and notes about our most beloved piece of art! Either you are an entry level cigar smoker or an aficionado you will need this guide for a quick reference about cigars.

I worked at a store where we had a cigar room and i am a non smoker so this helped me sell the product with a little more knowledge.
