Good reading learned a lot about how to write and come up with ideas to write. Easy to read and understand.
This little book was helpful and easy reading. The only that made me drop a star is that it was very short. But how can I complain...I got it as a freebie. Worthwhile.
This book does exactly what the author says it does. It helps you choose your words in a more selective manner, preferring smaller ones to convey your point rather than large, lofty sounding ones. However, he does assert, if a longer or larger word describes your idea more precisely, you shouldn't be afraid to use it. The idea, I believe, is not to clutter your writing with large words just because you know them. The book is easy to read, and it teaches you how to specialize your vocabulary, which he obviously has done. I like it.
