This is the most recent book in the Corps Justice series. While it is part of a series, the book can be read as a standalone. Though, since the books build off each other, I highly suggest you read them in order. There is violence and some torture. If you like military thrillers, you will love this series and this book. You won't be disappointed.The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat that all of that info here. The author did a great job of describing the political scene and the lengths some people (and countries) will go to in their quest for power and dominance.As usual in a Corps Justice book, Sabotage contains many clues, surprises, twists, and turns. It definitely kept me riveted and I could not put it down. President Zimmer again does the unexpected and puts his own life on the line. Cal and his TJG team end up right in the middle of something much much bigger than they ever expected. Of course not all is as it appears. Along the way they meet up with some old friends, find some new ones, deliver some much needed justice, and offer a fitting tribute to one of their own.I can't wait to read the next book in the series!
I always go to C G Cooper when I need a break or a boost and he never fails me. Sabotage is another star breaker, bringing back our old and still resplendent team and adding a new twist in a new location with the requisite number of bad guys particularly well balanced by a good number of very good guys, pulling us to our higher selves and seeing that could win. But he always pulls us to the edge thinking is it going to shift how could this possibly turn out right...Don't want to be a story spoiler, but do read it for yourself. I'm a little ole lady and I loved every page, smirking on some, worried a little, hating the thought of loosing a mainstay on others. Retired military must enjoy the devil out of each page, even if the likely hood of everything coming together always on a small group in government seems a stretch...
The Jefferson Group (TJG) is back again with a very personal mission. Cal Stokes, Dr. Higgins, Gaucho, Daniel, Trent got an SOS call from two friends and warriors, Karl Schneider and Vince Sweeney. They were on a mission for the President and had been shot down in the Horn of Africa. This is a complex, imaginative, but timely, thriller, suspense you won't want to put down! C.G.Cooper has a home run in Book 12 of his patriotic series. Reading his books gives you a sense of hope for our future. A captivating read!
While I am admitted fan of Cal, Top, Gaucho and Daniel, this one takes it all up a notch. I won't spoil any of the story line(s), but it is a must read, especially if you are a fan of the military/spec ops/action genre. C.G. has nailed another great adventure of the gang even managing to throw the President of the United States in the mix. Yes,it's one in a series, you could (and should) pick this one up and get to know the gang and C.G.'s style of story telling.
This is the book I have been waiting for! Sabotage, by C.G.Cooper is an military action thriller. Please note, I mean action! Our story opens as a couple of Delta Force warriors set out on a Presidential fact finding mission in Africa. Their covert undertaking is sabotaged by an unknown adversary. When Cal Stokes learns that his old friends are missing and in danger, the Jefferson Group mounts a breathtaking rescue.Sabotage is a remarkable story of greed, treacherous betrayal, but, most of all, of the loyal friendship of a special brotherhood. I think this military thriller is brilliant! Thank you, Mr. Cooper, for a masterfully written story.
I always read this authors books as soon as they come out. They are all great but, this book may be the best one yet. I couldn't put it down. From the start it keeps you going and doesn't stop until the end. If you are new to this author it would be better to read them in order but, not necessary. If you are still thinking about it just do it.
This was another great book C.G.Cooper! I could not put it down! I love reading about Cal and all of his friends. I cannot wait for the next book! I want to know what happen with the election and with the congressman. Please tell us it won't be long before we get another new book with the continuation of the life and time of Cal Stokes and all his friends.
I read this book of Dr the course of a day... because I simply couldn't put it down! This has to be the top story of the series!! I didn't think there could be as many twists and turns in one book. But they were mercifully tied all together except for one... I can't wait to see how that one is resolved in the next Book.
