My son received this book for his 3rd birthday in September. It is now November and I can honestly say that he still takes this book out daily to work on his Dinosaur stickers. The beginning of the book has information on different kinds of dinos and places to match up the correct stickers. The middle part of the book has different scenes that you can stick the dinos to put them in different environments and the last section is full of dinosaur stickers. My son was really good at matching the sticker to the correct section at the begninning of the book and he also created lots of scenes with the stickers. This has been the best book for the car, Dr.'s appointments, or just sitting around on the couch. I am buying him more of these types of books for Christmas because I know they are worth every penney. My son has memorized some of the names of the dinosaurs and can even tell me what they eat. Incredible - buy it!
My son loves this book. I had to place the initial dinosaur stickers next to their names (he's only 4). Then, he took the extra dinosaur stickers and placed them all over the scenic pages. To my surprise, he hasn't plastered all the stickers everywhere yet. He takes the time to look through the book and will ask us to read different sections to him. He truly seems to use it like an encyclopedia without knowing he is. I love the quality and amount of information in this book. I would buy this for other dinosaur-loving kids as well.
This is a great sticker book. My son is 5 and loves dinosaurs. There are many stickers in the book. They are well drawn and accurate. He is able to remove them and put them on paper without assistance or tearing. Decent price for the number of stickers you receive.
My five year old son loves the dk sticker books. The pages are high quality. The stickers can be peeled off and re-stuck in case he makes a mistake. The front pages have spots for each dinosaur sticker with a little blurb about each kind of dinosaur. The back section has pictures of different habitats that he can fill with the different dinosaurs that belong there. I even enjoy working with him on these books. He also has the animal one, and he really wants the Lego one. Great product dk! I love all of their stuff though.
I bought two sticker books from this brand. The Ocean sticker book is great for my seven year old. The dinosaur sticker book,however,is a disappointment. First,for some reason the stickers are not grouped according to the corresponding page. I thought maybe I could do this activity with my three year old son,but found it very frustrating. Second,there are a handful of dinosaurs that don't exist! A couple of them have already been disproved such as the one covered in feathers. My science-loving Husband was not happy.I wish I had bought the transportation option from this series for my son,he would have been able to figure that one out. Finally,I just opted to show him the colorful scenes in the center of the book and he chose dinosaurs at random to ad to them. Better than nothing.
I bought several of these sticker books in various themes for my kids to keep them quiet and entertained during church. They work like a charm. I'm impressed with the variety of the stickers, their quality, and the overally quality of the book. My kids (ages 2 1/2 and 3 1/2) love finding where some of the stickers go and sticking the other stickers on the extra "scenic" pages provided in the back. I love these sticker books - would recommend them to anyone.
Well, my four year old grandson loves this. I gave it to him for Christmas and his mom,dad, Aunts, Uncles, other grandparents were all required to help put the stickers in the correct spots. He is obsessed with dinosaurs and their names and their characteristics. All he wanted for Christmas were Dinosaur books, and toys. So it was great. Mom and Dad, I think were glad when all the stickers were done. They assured me that this book has over 600 stickers. I liked it also.
my son loves the DK sticker books. His first one has provided hours of entertainment! I believe this one will as well. lots of stickers. This one has a ton of educational info about dinosaurs! More than I ever wanted to know, but I guess is will be learning about it all as I read it to him!
