It is no longer best practice to just know drug names and dosages so this is a book that needs to be a standard reference for every clinic that provides care to women. It should be readily available to all faculty & students who focus on women's and maternity services. Consumers will find it useful too but due to its size donating a copy to your local library or women's club may be the best investment. Congratulations to the Editors and authors!

This is a fabulous book that I turn to time and again in prescribing and just general knowledge. All sorts of topics that are not just women's health related, including derm and psych, etc. I really love this book.

Well written, easily understood. Exceptional organization. Excellent resource for Advanced practice nurses or anyone needing to understand Women's health and Pharmacology.

This is an excellent resource for pharm geared towards women's health. Gives lots of info related to meds during pregnancy. A valuable resource for all women's health providers and great review for all students of women's health, midwifery, and family nursing. Not necessarily enough info about the rest of the population, but when you're looking for the missing piece relating to women and pregnancy, it definitely fills in the gaps.

This book covers all body systems which is just what I was looking for. Highly recommended by my instructor in a WHNP program. It should come in handy when I start practicing.

This is definitely a great reference. Some information is out of date. If this is used as a clinic reference, you should double check some of the info with an updated source.

Very comprehensive. heavy book if you want to carry it around must be strong. Wish for a spiral bound handbook. Paper back much cheaper, but not as durable.

Had to have this text for an online pharmacology course,,, really learned a lot, and liked the book a lot plan to keep it as a reference in my office!
