Great book. Arrived really quickly and the book was in great quality. I bought this book for a course I'm taking on addictions and the content is heavy but very informative. This is a great book for anyone studying psychology/forensics for knowing more of the biological,psychological, and social aspects of behaviors as well as how addictions to different substances affect the brain. Worth the read!
This text book is biased, poorly written and badly organized. I hope your teacher does not require this textbook, otherwise I'd recommend a different one.Shame on you for using sources from 1974, 1995 and 2002. The information is far from current. How this even was approved for publishing is beyond me.
This textbook provides the foundation necessary for who wants to work as a counselor for alcohol and substance abuse.I do recommend it!!!
