I read the book two years ago but I was curious about another author's perceptions of Rodney Stark's research. The author summarized the book with a good explanation of debunking the "Dark Ages" and the impact of technology. I would consider reading a summary like this in advance of a book that I'd like to read.
This title makes some very important arguments for how Christianity has promoted human progress. These are arguments sorely needed in our time when people make impassioned arguments based on anything but facts and reason.
