I am a patient of Doctor Brenner, so I'm of course biased - because he saved my life. I was reading this book while hooked to an IV with a cocktail of vitamins at his New Hope clinic in Tel-Aviv. I spent 2+ months undergoing cancer treatment there, so had more than enough time to read it cover to cover.The book offers a detailed review of the most credible complimentary cancer modalities, and explains how they should be combined with conventional treatments to maximize the effectiveness of a treatment protocol. In addition to being highly informative, it is also a great source of inspiration, as it includes numerous success stories from Doctor's many years of practice. The book also emphasises the importance of a good doctor-patient relationship which must be based on trust, respect and genuine care and commitment.Having read many books on the alternative cancer treatments, I believe this one is a true gem: I'm not aware of any other book on the subject that is written by a conventional oncologist who spent so many years researching, testing, and hand-picking the most effective complimentary cancer treatments from all over the world - from China to Germany and the US.If you are a patient faced with a cancer diagnosis, please do yourself a favour, read this book and become an educated consumer who is in control of your own destiny. I appreciated the well-balanced approach of pursuing alternative methods and yet recognizing there may be times when traditional, albeit difficult, methods are worth consideration. The author's credentials/background are impressive.
