Got this a s a gift for my grandson, 19 who choose to read Don Quixote outside of a college class. The book is complex and long and I was afraid he would get discouraged if he had to plough through it alone. The Cliff Notes was the perfect companion, he kept moving back and forth and it confirms some of his thoughts and gave him insights he might not have developed. It was also far better than grandma having to re-enter the world of windmills.

This set of notes helps keep you from being overwhelmed by Don Quixote. Nonetheless, I still ran out of steam after about 100 pages of the novel. Maybe I was still whelmed. I plan to return to it someday.

Don Quixote is long and is possibly the earliest "novel" written. Cliffs Notes do a wonderful job with author background as well as a chapter by chapter (book by book) summary.

I found this book to be very helpful and informative. Broke down the book in a way that one was able to understand what was going on.

I read the book many years ago and had forgotten some of the details. I find Cliffs Notes was very helpful, and I did not have to re-read the entire book.
