A must have book for anyone dealing with pain management in the patient setting. Small size makes it easy to carry in your lab coat pocket. Weither one is just getting started in caring for patients, or having worked many years in the profession...this is THE BOOK to use. I highly recommend it. From my experience at Mass General their answer to pain management is simply to ignore all suffering and then maybe produce a Tylenol.
