Something In our justice system is just broken especially when it involves children. Let's all take our heads out of the sand and educate on child abuse. This book is a perfect motivator.
Such a well written, heart-breaking story. For her to write this book with the intention of trying to protect someone else from having this happen to them, is truly remarkable. I read the book in one day and believe that this is a must-read for everyone.
Randis did an excellent job at making you fall in love with the main character.What I loved most about this book is the timeline. I felt complete closure after ending this book because the author leads you to the very very end......happiness
A wonderfully written story of survival and resilience. It was so captivating that I read it in one day. You will not be able to put this book down. I imagine this would be a very helpful book for someone who has experienced any kind of abuse. If you want an impowering, compelling novel with a strong message, read this book. Spilled milk deserves a 5 star because it was very well written, held my intrest from the first page and it was hard to put down. I really liked this book. I would recommend this book to anyone who has been abused, works in the field or just has a passion to help others.
This is a wonderfully written, heartfelt story that every young adult should read. The story while harrowing, never manages to strip the author of her dignity or suggest in any way that healing isn't possible. It is also an invaluable resource for anyone trapped in the cycle of abuse and feels there is no way out. It is a book that offers answers and hope.
