I do not normally do reviews. However in my review of the New Oxford spelling dictionaries I will make an exception. This is the 2014 addition, hardcover with a paper wrapped over the hardcover.I ordered this spelling dictionaries thinking that the dimensions of the book would be larger. The book itself was much smaller than I had hoped. And the typeface was far too small for me.It has been my experience that most people using this type of book wear contacts or glasses. That's not a bad thing unless one is trying to read very small typeface. Otherwise this spelling dictionariesdeliviers as promised.
This is one of the most important books I've ever purchased. It has helped me enormously plus i bought extra copies for my Mom plus daughters. No excuse for not spelling correctly anymore - - at least for me.
This is a wonderful reference for a writer/editor. It doesn't include definitions, only spelling and hyphenation points, so it takes only a few seconds to check and ensure a spelling is correct.
