Being part native American I heard stories from my fathers side. I never considered that all the way up to the 80's we forced sterilized people for there ethnic race, emotional content, or they were just poor. We fought a war against Nazi Germany yet as Hitler said "I got the idea from the Americans.) though not specified, it would never have occurred if 2 items was not in play. White Conservative, usually Rich and the church backed it. It forces you with facts to ask the question, were we any better than the Nazi's. You will see other books under the recommendation section. For a further complete study to include court cases, I recommend you review there recommendations. The past, the grand old past we want to believe in wasn't all that grand and I wonder, if we were Nazi lite. This book is an excellent stating off point for a dark and never asked chpt in our modern history. It forced me to ask the question if certain political parties/movements arenlt trying to bring back this dark chpt, this blight on our history and use the Holy word to do so.
very good information
