The Complete Gnomes, by Wil Huygen, is amazing. Not only does this book include information, but pictures and stories as well. The way the book is compiled is also very good. The pages are very easy to follow and well explained. The pictures are also very good. Overall, this book deserves 5 star's.
For some reason I just love gnomes. I use them in my art. I got this book and have been very happy with it. There are a ton of pictures and so many stories to tell why gnomes do what they do and there reasons behind it. There are over 400 pages. It's a very heavy book. It is a great read and the watercolor paintings and drawings are very detailed and engaging.
Amazing book, warm and witty in its presentation - a delightful coffee table item, especially to have out during the winter holidays. The amount of "historical data" far outweighs that listed anywhere else and its illustrations rival the written text for the amount of information they contain. For anyone interested in the little guys this is a must have.
We are so pleased with the condition of this book and the seller and the shipping. Regular shipping and it still arrived early. Also, the book was listed as okay condition...But to our happy surprise, was in supreme condition! Which helped make Christmas a happy one. My husband had fond memories of this book from childhood. And it was more than he remembered. With amazing illustrations and really interesting stories. What fun to pass on to our kids. Great Book!
I got this book because I had it when I was little. My kids and I absolutely love it! It's very magical and plummets you into the Gnome world. There are a lot of great stories and the art is perfect!
