This is not really a book on followership, not as it is generally accepted. It is a book about management in healthcare organizations. While it may have some value for people working in that industry, it is not grounded in the literature on followership. I doubt whether the author has even heard of Kelley or Chaleff (the pioneers of followership). At least, I can't find a single reference to their works anywhere in the book.If you are interested in followership, I would recommend "The Courageous Follower", "The Power of Followership", "The Art of Followership", or Kellerman's "Followership".
This is a textbook for a class I am taking. I would highly reccomend it to anyone. This book is tough to put down, it is filled with insight and great tips.
